dopeyScore 3.10 corrects how cleanup credit interacts with shared death costs. A useful sacrifice can still earn credit when teammates finish the fight, while the same death discount can no longer be reimbursed a second time.
Recover the cost actually paid
Connected fights share some responsibility for deaths. In 3.9, immediate cleanup could then reimburse a player using their original death cost, even when fight sharing had already reduced it. Those two forms of relief could make a failed exchange look slightly positive for the player who died.
The extra cleanup recovery now uses the smaller of the original death charge and the charge the player actually received. Direct contributions still earn their own credit, and the existing damage evidence, time limits, and transfer cap still apply.
Good follow-through still counts
Crowd-control evidence, damage absorbed, connected encounters, and contribution after death remain part of the score. An isolated death or an encounter with no return kills receives the same attribution as before this correction. The rule applies to every role.
We checked failed exchanges alongside successful sacrifices and rebuilt the affected calibration models. This is a correction to how existing team impact is divided among players; it does not add points to the team’s total.
